Tournament rules & format

Team composition

- 6 players on field at any time

- Maximum 8 players per squad

- 2 Impact Substitutions permitted — one for batting or bowling only, not both

- Once substituted, a player cannot rejoin

- Substitutions must be declared before the innings or at the fall of a wicket

game format

- 5 overs per side

- Ball: Vicky Medium Tennis Ball (provided by organisers)

- One wooden bat and one PVC bat provided — participants may bring their own

attire

- Proper sports attire mandatory

- Sports shoes only — barefoot, slippers and flip flops strictly not allowed

- No shorts, formal pants or shirts

bowling

- Each player bowls maximum 1 over

- Over-arm throw-ups only — no conventional bowling

- Bowler must throw from within the marked box — touching white line = No Ball

- Lifting either leg while throwing = No Ball

- Two full tosses above waist → bowler removed from attack

- Ball bouncing over head untouched = Wide + warning

- Third bouncer in same over = No Ball

fielding

- Maximum 2 fielders allowed behind the bowler

- Fielders must stay within designated zones

- Any fielding violation = No Ball

batting

- No LBW

- No Leg Byes

- No last man batting

runs & boundaries

- 4 runs — ball hits boundary on bounce

- 6 runs — ball clears boundary without touching ground

- Ball touching top net — ball in play; if caught after touching net, not out

- Ball hitting side net then boundary = 4 runs

- Ball hitting top net then boundary = 6 runs

- Ball stuck in roof/net/wall = 1 run + batsmen change ends

no ball conditions

- Bowler crosses the crease

- Fielding restriction violated

- Ball bounces more than once before reaching batter

- Full toss above waist height

- Penalty: +1 run to batting side + Free Hit on next delivery

- Free Hit dismissal: run-out only

winning & tie

- Highest total wins

- Tie → Super Over: 1 over, 2 wickets per team

- Tie in Super Over → 3 sets of hitting the wicket while throwing at stumps

fair play

- Umpire's decision is final

- Organising Committee's decision is binding in disputes

- Abusive or foul language = player or team suspension

- Only team captains may approach the referee or organising committee
